Double-head configuration
Benefit from increased flexibility and a broader range of possible applications by adding a secondary spindle to your setup. By equipping your machine with high-speed and high-torque spindles, there is virtually no limit to what you can achieve on your machine. From high-precision drilling with ultra-small diameter tools to large diameter rough routing applications, the double head configuration unlocks the machine's full potential.
CCD camera alignment
Increase your registration accuracy by equipping your machine with Schmoll's Camera Compensated Drilling (CCD) technology. In combination with Schmoll's XY-table technology, specific alignment corrections can be applied to every panel on each station. It's a must-have for the latest backdrill applications with increasingly tighter backdrill diameter requirements.
2nd measuring system
Mechanical surface level detection for non-conductive surfaces - ideal for depth drilling and depth routing processes on plastic covered work piece surfaces. New cover design to prevent dust from entering for increased stability and reliability, along with improved sensitivity for more accurated surface detection. Increase your workflow and process flexibility by adding Schmoll's secondary measuring system to your workstation.
High-speed spindles
Ever-decreasing hole diameters require faster and faster spindles. Schmoll machines rely on high-quality spindles of renowned manufacturers, to provide you with ultra-precision air bearing spindles that can ramp up to 300.000 rpm, while providing top of the class runout stability.
High-torque spindles
Whether for large drill diameters or rough routing operations, Schmoll offers a range of high-torque spindles to help you get the job done. With shank diameters of up to 6 mm, the high-torque spindle lineup allows the use of big tools and the processing of copper and other metals.
Vacuum table
Schmoll's in-house designed and manufactured vacuum table solutions are the ideal addition to your workpiece clamping options. Strong and evenly distributed holding forces ensure reliable processing and unparalleled surface flatness, ideal for high-precision cavity routing operations. Free up your work piece designs by not having to account for pinning holes. Schmoll vacuum tables are available as stand-alone work piece tables or as vacuum adapters for even more flexibility.
