The MX1 metal combines the features of the current MX-series with powerful components for metal machinig. The MX1 - metal can be equipped with two different spindles. Besides the classic routing tools with a diameter of 3.175 mm (1 / 8 "), the double head can also be equipped with a spindle for tools with 6 mm shank.

For tool changing, a tool box with 6 mm tools is used as well as a tool chain for up to 2,200 tools for standard tools.

A new way of working is the MicroMill DH. A powerful CPU combined with outstanding performance with a modern drive system from Bosch Rexroth provides all applications for manufacturing the highest accuracy with an accuracy of < 5 microns (VDI / DQC 3441).

The use of a 35 mm ball bearing from the UP class, offers an extremely high stiffness of the axle system. Here two spindles are used with a tool diameter of 3.175 mm (1 / 8 ") and 6 mm.
